CleverTouch achieves compound growth of over 120% p.a., opens in Europe, and appoints new MDs and advisory board
Exponential growth in marketing automation sees marketing consultancy into new markets and sectors, adding significant experience to the management team.
Marketing automation consultancy CleverTouch has seen revenue growth continue at a rate of over 120% per annum, and a more than doubling of headcount. It has also just opened its Swiss office in Neuchatel, and appointed managing directors to head northern and central Europe, as well as an advisory board of respected industry heads.
Supported by the organic growth in marketing automation in Europe of c.20% p.a., the company has seen revenues more than double year on year since its foundation three years ago. To support this growth, it has hired Donald Stewart, SVP European Sales & Marketing at Tandberg Data, to head the new Swiss office and lead Central European expansion, and Caroline Hodson, MD Northern Europe, formerly UK Channel and Marketing Director at security company Trend Micro.
CleverTouch has seen significant uptake in marketing automation and associated online marketing initiatives designed to engage customers and prospects through personalised relevant content rather than generic product-centric messaging. At the heart of its success is offering companies the ability, through email, web and social media, to nurture prospects and have a 360°-view of their buyer's journey. Clients who have contributed to the revenue growth come from a range of industries and include Oracle, Acronis, Reed Elsevier and ControlCircle.
CleverTouch has also appointed an advisory board of executives to challenge the company and assist in key initiatives such as the expansion strategy and Talent Management Programme. The advisory board includes Jo Barnett, Executive Director of Virgin Money Giving and former Marketing Director of Virgin Money, Pete Jakob, IBM UK & I Brand Manager, Laurence Sheppard, Group Head of Legal at GB Building, Mark Stradling, former VP EMEA of VMware and a board member at Centrix, Paul Smith, marketing author and former Chartered Institute of Marketing Examiner, Alistair Aitchinson, former VP of Novell and now MD Emenex, Simon Hansford, CTO of Skyscape and former co-founder of Attenda.
