PR/SM Senior Account Executive
CleverTouch is an exciting, fast growing, marketing consultancy, which has a range of b2b and b2c clients and is looking for an experienced (18 months to 2 years) Senior Account Executive to join the team. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and convey passion and enthusiasm as well as demonstrating a can-do attitude. CleverTouch employs intelligent, fun and energetic team players with initiative and drive. The role is based at the Alresford (near Winchester) office, but with visits to client premises around the South East and London.

The primary focus of the role:
The primary focus of the Senior Account Executive is to manage a portfolio of clients within the PR and social media team, reporting to an account director. This will include drafting of content, media liaison, client liaison and identifying opportunities to drive the campaigns forward, as well as engaging across all SM channels. The candidate would have a solid grasp of what makes a good story, and be familiar with drafting content for opportunities and blogs.
It is expected that this role would evolve with the right candidate, to encompass more key elements of PR/SM account management and client management and new business.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Drafting content, pitching ideas, helping with the development of campaign themes
- Press and blog/online monitoring for relevant stories and opportunities
- Keeping up to date on media stories and trends
- Research on social media channels, and monitoring on behalf of clients for issues and opportunities
- Overseeing and inputting to the weekly reporting of activity, and monthly campaign overviews
- Assisting with ideas generation and basic content for blogs and features
- Ensuring adequate understanding of the client’s products and services and learning the relevant channels with which to communicate
- Attending meetings and briefings where appropriate
- Management of events on and off line
- Developing solid social media strategies for lead generation and engagement
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong social media skills and active use of new tools and applications such as Hootsuite, Radian6, Wordpress, Tweetdeck
- Professional and flexible project management skills
- Natural aptitude for attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word
Desirable Experience:
- An essential love of the media, what makes a good story, and the developments in the social media landscape
- Analytical skills to be able to justify ROI and make a case for PR/SM activity
- Contacts with key media and influencers, particularly the technology, business and marketing press
The Package
CleverTouch aim to provide an upper quartile salary and benefits, package to include:
- Quarterly bonus scheme based on company performance
